Reserve 101 is recognized as one of the top whiskey bars in the country, but that’s not what makes us special. First opening our doors in 2008, Reserve 101 is housed in an early 1900s building that’s seen plenty––including Prohibition––come and go. We’re an inclusive, neighborhood Houston Bar that makes the whiskey world not just more accessible, but bigger, too.

Our educated team behind the bar strives to deliver a first-class experience not just for whiskey connoisseurs, but for newcomers as well. If you have questions, we want to hear them, whether we’re discussing it all over an incredibly rare pour, one of our exclusive private barrel picks, or our favorite daily off-the-shelf pour. We believe that attitude is a big part of why we’ve earned nods like the Whisky Magazine Gold Award, as well as placement in Eater’s elite list of the 14 best whiskey bars in the country, that and our whiskey selection, which spans more than 600 bottles from 14 countries.

Since becoming one of the most recognized Houston Cocktail bars, We take our cocktails seriously: An extensive menu of craft cocktails, including our signature stunners the Reserve 101 Old Fashioned and the Reserve 101 Clarified Sour, beckon alongside seasonal offerings, carefully curated wine, and beer lists, and an inspired zero-proof selection. Frequent tastings led by experts also offer opportunities to enjoy, experience, and learn, while private parties are another specialty. Everyone is welcome here. And we are so lucky to have you.
